on our last day in phoenix, we ventured out of our air conditioned clubhouse and into the city to find neat places to hang out. both yelp and rick insisted that
lux was the best place for a good cup of coffee and both sources were correct!
the parking lot was lined with sky-high sunflowers.
the coffee shop was a bit crowded, so we all decided to brave the outdoor seating area. we're talking 100+ degree heat out there, and against all sense and reason, i decided to order a latte. HOT, not iced--- and i somehow lived to tell. with
renegade two weeks away, i also forced myself to work a bit on some embroidery.

i'm glad you liked lux! what else did you guys end up doing?
hmm, we didn't get very far: lux + stinkweeds + francine (boutique next door to stinky) + airport. oh, and we lunched at my florist! i just had a cup of lux coffee from a bag of beans we brought back with us. i wish there was a lux in sf.
i'm jealous! i'm hoping to go to phoenix sometime before the end of august... i can't wait! did you like my florist?? maybe you should consider going the same time i go... or at least part of the time... i want to go for about a week or longer... it would be fun!
